REFRAIN
Happy are those who do what the Lord commands.

VERSE 1
Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who take delight in God's commands.
Their children will be powerful on earth;
the children of the upright are blessed.

VERSE 2
Riches and wealth are in their house;
their justice stands firm for ever.
They are a light in the darkness for the upright;
they are generous, merciful and just.

VERSE 3
The good take pity and lend,
they conduct their affairs with honor.
The just will never waver,
they will be remembered for ever.
