Royal Fireworks Music: Overture
GEORGE FRIDERIC HANDEL

George Frideric Handel (1685-1750) was one of the history's greatest composers,
and his music was wildly popular in his day, as it has remained ever since. His
music was wildly popular in his time, and it has remained so ever since. His Royal
Fireworks Music was written for a grand celebration given by King George I in
London in 1749. The Overture works perfectly as a wedding processional, and
makes for a very royal beginning to the ceremony! Heard here played by the organ
alone, it can also work well with the addition of a trumpet or two.
